Cluxo for MAC
Free, open-source Mac menu bar app that highlights your cursor, clicks and keystrokes for screen recordings, presentations and demos.
Cluxo Overview
When you share your screen or record a tutorial, the mouse pointer is easy to lose. Cluxo is a small menu bar app that puts a colored ring around the cursor and shows every click, drag and scroll, so viewers always know where to look. It also has a spotlight that dims everything except the area around the pointer, a live magnifier, an on-screen keystroke display and a drawing mode for marking up the screen while you talk.
Cluxo is made by kykim79 and is open source under the MIT license. Most settings can be changed during a talk from a radial menu that opens at the cursor with Control-Option-comma or a long press. Version 1.5.1 makes the spotlight follow the shape you picked for the cursor ring. It needs macOS 13 or later and Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions; Screen Recording is needed only for the magnifier. The GitHub download is not notarized by Apple, so the first launch must be confirmed with a right-click and Open. The interface is in English and Korean.
Key Features
Cluxo gives presenters and screencasters a complete set of cursor effects.
- Cursor ring: four shapes, four sizes, eight color slots, glow and adjustable opacity and border.
- Click effects: different ripples for left, right, double and middle clicks.
- Drag and scroll indicators: the ring stretches as you drag and arrows show scroll direction.
- Spotlight: darkens the screen except a soft-edged area around the cursor.
- Magnifier: live 1.5x to 4x zoom around the pointer with an adjustable lens.
- Keystroke display: shows the shortcuts you press at the bottom of the screen.
- Drawing mode: pen, line, arrow, rectangle, ellipse, highlighter and numbered badges.
- Radial menu: change effects, colors and sizes at the cursor without opening settings.
What’s New in Version 1.5.1
Cluxo 1.5.1 matches the spotlight to the cursor ring.
- The spotlight now uses the ring shape you picked: rounded square, diamond or hexagon instead of always a circle
- The edge softness slider works for every spotlight shape

MassReplaceItMassReplaceIt is a find and replace utility for many files at once. You choose the files or folders, type what to look for and what to put in its place, and MassReplaceIt searches either the file contents or the file names, such as changing the extension of hundreds of files in one go. Before anything is written you can preview the changes, and each search gives detailed results. Searches can be saved and used again, filters leave out files you do not want touched, and regular expressions handle patterns that plain text cannot.Productivity
TypeCueTypeCue takes the typing out of screen recordings, tutorials, webinars and live presentations. You write your demo as an ordered list of text blocks.
